Terms of service
These terms govern access to Krystal Trace during Phase 1. Krystal Trace provides preliminary blockchain trace evidence for claimants, solicitors, forensic accountants, and claimant-group coordinators. By using the service, you agree to use it only for lawful evidence preparation, matter review, claimant intake, and related professional workflows.
You must have authority to upload or process any claimant evidence, transaction records, correspondence, identity material, or matter notes you provide. You must not use Krystal Trace to harass, impersonate, dox, threaten, extort, or contact alleged perpetrators, exchange staff, wallet owners, or other real-world targets through the platform. You must not use the service to bypass legal process, gain access to an exchange account, obtain private keys, seed phrases, wallet credentials, passwords, 2FA codes, or remote access to another person's device.
Krystal Trace does not provide legal advice, financial advice, regulated investigation services, asset freezing, exchange contact, or fund recovery. The service does not promise that funds will be traced, recovered, frozen, attributed to a real-world person, or accepted by a court. Outputs are preliminary trace materials and must be reviewed by an appropriately qualified solicitor, forensic expert, regulator, or investigator before being relied on in formal proceedings.
Reports, graphs, labels, confidence grades, and exports are generated from user-provided material, public blockchain data, third-party infrastructure, and model-assisted analysis. They may be incomplete, stale, wrong, or affected by exchange batching, mixers, chain splits, heuristics, missing labels, or user error. You are responsible for checking inputs, interpreting outputs, and deciding whether further expert analysis is required.
We may suspend or terminate access if an account is abusive, unlawful, security-sensitive, unpaid, or likely to harm claimants, third parties, the platform, or the integrity of evidence workflows. We may also refuse a matter where we believe the requested use is unauthorized or unsuitable for a preliminary trace product.
Fees, plan limits, export limits, tracing depth, and live-update allowances are described on the pricing page or in a signed order form. Paid access may depend on successful billing and acceptable matter use. If a plan is cancelled, we may restrict new traces and report generation while preserving reasonable access to existing exports for a short transition period, subject to evidence integrity, security, and legal obligations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krystal Trace is provided on an as-is basis and your use is at your own risk. Our aggregate liability for claims connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid for Krystal Trace in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Legal notices should be sent to legal@krystaltrace.example.
